ABOUT
KRISTY ADLER
I’m Kristy, a Sydney-based artist creating original oil still life paintings that honour memory, celebrate motherhood, and find beauty in the everyday.
My work began in the quiet chaos of early motherhood, after my mum was diagnosed with a rare form of dementia. She was a gifted artist, but as her illness progressed, she could no longer pursue the creative passions that once brought her joy. Grieving that loss, I picked up a paintbrush — and through it, found a way to feel close to her again.
Now, I paint the little things that mean the most: lemons on the bench, a morning coffee, flowers in a jar — objects that carry stories, especially for those of us missing someone we love.
Every piece I create is heartfelt and nostalgic, made to honour a memory or hold space for a moment you never want to forget.
I offer original still life paintings, commissions that capture the essence of your mum or a loved one, and made-to-order pieces from past favourites.
10% of profits from prints and made-to-order works support Dementia Australia Research Foundation — a cause deeply personal to me.
When you bring my art into your home, you’re choosing more than beauty — you’re choosing a story.
